Softball's upset of US National Team to air tonight

ESPN2 will air the March 28 game between Virginia Tech and the U.S. National team tonight at 7 p.m.

The Hokies (41-15, 16-5 ACC) won the game 1-0, with the help of an Angela Tincher no-hitter. The game was part of the National Team's exhibition tour, "Bound 4 Beijing."

Tech will play next in the ACC Championship opener on May 8 at 12:30 p.m. against the University of Maryland in College Park. Tech, the No. 2 seed, won two of three this year against the Terrapins.

Defeating TEAM USA is something that is very rare, and not only did Tech beat them, they no-hit them. It was th first lost to a college team.. GO HOKIES, WIN THE ACC AGAIN!! Flag Abuse
