Week 11 featured the upset of star quarterback Andrew Luck and the Stanford Cardinal and began to create a bit of a mess in the BCS rankings. Let’s take a look at some of the best individual performances for this week:

Brandon Weeden, QB, Oklahoma State: Weeden continues to climb up Heisman candidate lists as his team rises in the BCS rankings. Weeden completed 31 of 37 passes vs. Texas Tech while amassing 427 yards through the air and four touchdowns. The Cowboys proceeded to win the game 66-6.

Jeremy Ebert, WR, Northwestern: Ebert had a monster day for Northwestern. The star wide receiver had seven receptions for a career-high 208 yards and two touchdowns. The team defeated Rice 28-6.

Aaron Murray, QB, Georgia: Murray is here for the second straight week as he continues to lead the Bulldogs closer to an SEC East title. He threw for four touchdowns in the team’s 45-7 blowout win over Auburn and now has 27 touchdown passes for the season. That breaks Matthew Stafford’s school record of 25.

Logan Thomas, QB, Virginia Tech: The Hokies quarterback had another big primetime game as he accounted for five total touchdowns in the team’s 37-26 Thursday night victory over Georgia Tech. Thomas threw for three and ran  for two more touchdowns. He finished with 209 yards in the air and a career-high 70 on the ground.

Connor Halliday, QB, Washington State: The freshman quarterback came off the bench and showed no signs of fear. He went 27-36 passing for 494 yards and four touchdowns and led the Cougars to a 37-27 upset of Arizona State. The team needed a win in order to stay in contention for a bowl bid, and Halliday helped deliver.

Week 10 brought forth the most anticipated game in recent college football history on Saturday night, but also featured some remarkable performances by several players around the country. Here is a look at five of the best:

Matt Barkley, QB, USC: Barkley continued his success this season, as he threw for a school record six touchdown passes in the Trojans 42-17 win over Colorado on the road. The junior quarterback continues to improve his stock as he is considered amongst the top prospects for the 2012 NFL Draft.

Montee Ball, RB, Wisconsin: Ball had a career-high 224 rushing yards on Saturday on only 20 carries. His remarkable game is even more impressive because it occurred in just over two quarters of play. He also scored three touchdowns on the day as the Badgers bounced back for a big victory.

Aaron Murray, QB, Georgia: Murray had a career-best day while his team rolled in Georgia’s 63-16 win over New Mexico State. The Bulldogs quarterback threw for 238 yards and five touchdowns as the team scored 42 points in the second quarter.

Rodney McLeod, S, Virginia: The Cavaliers are beginning to see success under Mike London and it is in large part to the play of guys like Rodney McLeod. McLeod finished Saturday’s game vs. Maryland with three interceptions, which tied a single-game school record.

Brandon Weeden, QB, Oklahoma State: The quarterback for the Cowboys continues to put up huge numbers, as he led his team to come from behind victory over Kansas State. Weeden finished 36-46 passing for a school record 502 yards and four touchdowns. The combination of Weeden and receiver Justin Blackmon hope to carry Oklahoma State all the way to a national championship.
