When I was talking to Hokie senior Paul Cornett about his run for House of Delegates, he told me he was inspired by Sean Tevis, who ran for the same sort of office in Kansas.
Tevis was known for his use of the “new wave” of Internet features, such as Twitter and web comics.
Here is a link to his original campaign web comic.
Cornett said methods similar to those of Tevis could hold real potential in a district that includes a large population of college students, such as Blacksburg.
As last year’s election showed, stimulating a college population’s political interest can really affect the results.
