Thursday, Feb. 7
Noon – Chalk Talks Season 4 (D2): Men’s basketball coaches share strategies for the next big game. Every student present has the chance to win T-shirts, autographed basketballs and student tickets.
9 p.m. – Men’s Basketball (Cassell Coliseum): Virginia Tech will take on the Terps at home.
Friday, Feb. 8
Noon – Elect Her: Campus Women Win Mini Conference (1100 Torgersen): The VT Women’s Center collaborates with the American Association of University Women to train young women. The five-hour training session will teach women to run for student government and leadership positions.
7:30 p.m. – Swing Dance Lessons (YMCA’s Stuart Event Room): The Southwest Virginia Social Dance Society welcomes the Blacksburg community to come and learn to swing. Admission for members is $5, general admission is $7 and first-timers get in free.
Saturday, Feb. 9
Noon – Women’s Tennis (Burrows-Burleson Tennis Center): The women’s team will compete against William and Mary.
1 p.m. – Men’s Basketball (Cassell Coliseum): The Hokies will play Georgia Tech.
8 p.m. – Student Saxophone Recital (Squires Recital Salon): Matthew Turner will perform a junior recital. The performance is free and open to Blacksburg’s public.
Sunday, Feb. 10
1 p.m. – Men’s Tennis (Burrows-Burleson Tennis Center) The Hokies will play Penn State.
2 p.m. – Women’s Basketball (Cassell Coliseum): Tech will go up against Virginia. The first 650 fans in the door will receive a pink Tech Triumph shirt in support of breast cancer awareness.
8 p.m. – Student Clarinet Recital (Squires Recital Salon): Marla Schrettner will perform a senior recital. Admission is free and open to the community.
